We replace outdated wiring to improve safety, power reliability, and code compliance throughout your home.
At Franks Innovative Electric Inc., we provide full home rewiring for homeowners who need to replace old, unsafe, or overloaded electrical wiring. If your home has aging electrical systems, two-prong outlets, aluminum wiring, ungrounded circuits, frequent breaker trips, flickering lights, or not enough power for today’s appliances, a full rewire is often the safest long-term solution. Our goal is simple: give your home safer power, better performance, and wiring that meets current electrical code.
A full home rewire is one of the most important electrical upgrades you can make. Older homes were not built for modern electrical demand. Today, most families use more devices, larger kitchen appliances, HVAC systems, home office equipment, entertainment systems, and EV chargers than older wiring was ever designed to handle. Rewiring helps reduce fire risk, improves reliability, supports grounded outlets, and prepares your home for future upgrades.
We usually recommend a full home rewiring service when a house shows clear signs of electrical wear, outdated materials, or safety concerns. Common reasons to consider rewiring include:
If you are not sure whether you need spot repairs or a complete rewire, we can inspect the system and give you honest guidance. We focus on real solutions, not unnecessary upsells.
Every home is different, but a typical full rewire involves replacing old branch wiring throughout the house and upgrading key parts of the electrical system so everything works together safely. Depending on the home, scope may include:
We build the work around your home’s layout, the age of the structure, access in walls and attic spaces, and your current and future power needs. Our team has 20 years of combined experience, and we bring the same clean, careful workmanship to rewiring projects that we bring to panel upgrades and larger residential electrical jobs across Riverside and the Inland Empire.
We believe homeowners should know exactly what to expect. Full rewiring is a major project, so we take time to explain the scope clearly and keep the work organized from start to finish.
We are known for high-quality, clean, and professional electrical work. That matters on a full rewire because details matter. Clean routing, proper labeling, safe terminations, and code-correct installation all help protect your home for years to come. City inspectors have repeatedly praised our work, and at least two inspectors have trusted us to work on their own properties.
In some homes, patching one problem after another ends up costing more over time. A full rewire addresses the bigger issue instead of chasing symptoms. Homeowners often choose this service because it can:
If you plan to stay in your home for years, rewiring is often a smart investment in safety, performance, and peace of mind.
We often perform this service in older homes in Riverside and surrounding Inland Empire cities where the original electrical system no longer matches current demand. This includes houses with outdated panels, limited outlets, old wiring types, or years of unpermitted changes. We also help homeowners during major remodels when walls or ceilings are already open, which can make access easier and allow for a more complete electrical upgrade.
Whether your goal is safety, code compliance, better function, or preparing for a renovation, we tailor the rewiring plan to fit the home and your priorities.
Full home rewiring can vary in complexity based on the size of the house, accessibility, and whether the property is occupied during work. Some rewires can be completed in phases, while others are best handled as a larger coordinated project. We will explain the expected timeline, how access will work, and what areas of the home will be affected. Our team works hard to keep the job site as clean and organized as possible and to minimize disruption where we can.
Because every house is different, exact methods and timing depend on construction type, existing electrical conditions, and the scope of the upgrade. We will walk you through the practical details before work begins so there are no surprises.
We are a trusted electrical contractor serving Riverside, CA and nearby communities with a strong focus on larger residential electrical projects. Homeowners call us when they want real experience, honest communication, and work done the right way. We do not treat rewiring like a quick patch job. We look at the whole system and help you make a sound long-term decision for your home.
Our company brings extensive hands-on specialty construction experience and expertise. We are known for clean installations, professional service, and careful coordination on more complex projects. We have also earned strong customer feedback over the years, including 120+ historical reviews on HomeAdvisor. Most important, we stand behind doing the job safely and professionally.
If your home has outdated wiring, unsafe electrical symptoms, or you are planning a major renovation, now is the time to get it checked by an experienced electrician. We offer full home rewiring services in Riverside and surrounding areas, and we are ready to help you understand your options.
Call Franks Innovative Electric Inc. at (909) 648-8696 to discuss your home, request an estimate, and schedule your inspection. We will help you upgrade your wiring with a safe, clean, code-compliant solution built for the way your home uses power today.
We start with an on-site inspection of your existing wiring, panel, circuits, and problem areas to see what your home needs. Then we build a clear rewiring plan, explain code upgrades, timeline, and scope, and answer your questions before any work begins.
Once you approve the work, we schedule your project, organize materials, and handle permits when required so the job moves the right way. We map circuit routing, protect work areas, and plan the rewire in phases to reduce disruption and keep your home as functional as possible.
We remove outdated wiring, install new code-compliant wiring, devices, and protection, then test each circuit for safety and performance. After inspection, we walk you through the completed work, explain what was updated, and make sure you feel confident before we wrap up.

"Honest,On time,Fair and reasonable pricing The Best contractor I've ever hired! Very experienced and knowledgeable! Hire Frank's Innovative if your electrical needs to be done right the first time!👍"
"Frank came to our rescue at last minute, after hours. He was professional and quick. We felt he went over and beyond to satisfy us."
"Frank’s Innovative Electric Incorporated did lighting for me at two separate locations. The first was a brand-new condominium that needed lighting in four rooms (living room, master bedroom and two standard bedrooms). A total of twelve retrofit lights, two retrofit ceiling fans, switches and dimmers for all rooms. I have slight obsessive compulsive disorder traits (OCD) and wanted the installation done right. Frank and Oscar did everything they could to make sure I was happy. I watch every part of the installation and was satisfied with their work. The results were so good I had them do the installation on my house for my office and loft (pictures posted). A total of ten retrofit lights, two retrofit ceiling fans, switches and dimmers for both rooms. I highly recommend Frank and Oscar, they understand people like me with my OCD traits and were patience and respectful. The prices for the both jobs were good and I would not hesitate to use their services again. The installation of the fans was done properly with careful work in subfloor of my office to place the ceiling fan bracket (there was a lip in the floor joist due to I-framing design). Oscar fashioned wood spacers so the retrofit “Saf-T-Brace” would fit properly. This took extra time and work but Oscar wanted to make sure the brace fit right. Before they started I asked Frank to come to the job site a second time so I could discuss my lighting needs (even after he gave a quote) because I was still concerned about how much light I would need. Frank and Oscar took the time and walked me through their thought process. In the end I followed their recommendations (6 lights in my office instead of 4) and I am glad I did. I highly recommend Frank’s Innovative Electric and couldn’t be more pleased. If you need an patience electrician with excellent customer service I would recommend that you give them a call."
